There is literally hundreds of ways to travel as a human being. It can be as simple as walking to as complicated as flying in a rocket. At this moment, many people travel by vehicles such as cars and trains. However, to fuel these machines you must use gasoline and fossil fuels, and the resources are slowly but surely diminishing. In fact, this is effecting us right now. The prices to fill up your gas tank has recently just sky-rocketed, and now it will probably cost you about 50 bucks each time. Before it was much, much cheaper. Also it is destroying our atmosphere, so we must begin focusing on more Eco-friendly ways to travel, such as by human powered transportation, such as bicycles. Perhaps we should invent the car like in the "Flintstones" and power it by our feet, haha. Just small things you do can help save the world. Car-pool with friends, or take the train to work, anything can help. Remember you do these things everyday, and you travel everyday.
In todays present day, there are much more efficient ways of transportation then in the past. We have motor-vehicles, instead of a horse and carriage. We have airplanes to travel thorough the air, rather than by water. Also we have jet planes to go even faster than a normal one.
